The Wanted are a British-Irish boyband like One Direction, but aren't very successful in the music industry. They think they are SO much better than One Direction, but they aren't even close to being as successful as One Direction. Did they have two sold out world tours? NO. Did they win over 50 awards? NO. Did their debut album release at number 1 in the U.S.? NO. Sorry, they need to pipe down. They are always getting into fights over Twitter, The Wanted always starting crap and hating on the younger boys. They are so irrelevant and don't have any amunition on them, so they make up fake stuff like that they are gay. In the most recent war, Liam and Louis's girlfriends and a couple fans got involved too. The girls had a little bit to say to Tom of The Wanted. Louis and Liam were quick and clever when firing back, mentioning Tom's failed X Factor audition. Tom deleted all his tweets from the conversation, probably embarrased, but Louis kept his tweets posted. The Wanted have failed once again.

Bromances
Like all tight guy friendships, the boys have bromances with one another. It's a huge web of linking bromances because each of the five members of One Direction have a special bromance with each of the remaining four members. Directioners have come up with ship names to identify each bromance.
The bromances are...
1. Niam (Niall & Liam)
2. Narry (Niall & Harry)
3. Ziall (Zayn & Niall)
4. Nouis (Niall & Louis)
5. Zarry (Harry & Zayn)
6. Ziam (Zayn & Liam)
7. Zouis (Zayn & Louis)
8. Lirry (Liam & Harry)
9. Larry (Louis & Harry)
10. Lilo (Liam & Louis)

The problem with bromances is that people think the boys have relationships with one another as more than friends. The only bromances that interfers with the boys actual love life is the bromance between Harry and Louis. Their ship name is Larry Stylinson, but commonly know as just Larry. People genuinely think that Harry and Louis are in a relationship and the fandom has become divided into Larry shippers and Elounor shippers. From my previous post, you can gather that Elounor is Louis and Eleanor Calder's ship name. Louis is madly in love with Eleanor and those crazy people that think that Louis and Harry are secretly in love give Elounor a really hard time. They make up the most outrageous rumors such as that Eleanor has a twin named Tina and management hired El and Tina to be Louis's girlfriend, Eleanor. The Larry shippers bash Eleanor just because Louis loves her and it disgusts me! I think if Harry and Louis were a gay couple, they wouldn't put themselves and others in this situation. Unlike Larry, the other bromances are simply taken as jokes. That's why the whole Larry situation irritates me the most. When a picture comes out of Niall and Liam (Niam) being all cutesy, Directioners don't freak out. When a picture of Larry comes out, it's obvious that they are secretly madly in love. It's just a bunch of bull. They get bugged so much about it and it makes me mad that people can't just leave them to do what they want. They are "mature" young lads that are old enough to do what they want and should have that freedom without getting criticized.

1D Girlfriends
Liam has been dating Danielle Peazer, a dancer on the UK X Factor, for over 2 years and they are such a happy and beautiful couple. She is a gorgeous and talented girl that has made a successful career as a dancer without the help of Liam, but some "Directioners" think otherwise. They think she is using Liam to get famous, but that's a bunch of bologna. Louis is dating student and model Eleanor Calder. Harry introduced the two a little over a year ago and they have been dating ever since. Eleanor once said, "I'm just a fan that got lucky." She has a killer fashion sense, is absolutely stunning, and the boys have described her as "the female version of Louis," so she must be a good time. Zayn is dating singer Perrie Edwards. She auditioned for the UK X Factor in 2011, being put into a group at the Bootcamp stage with three other girls in which they named the group Little Mix. Little Mix went on to win the X Factor that season and release and album in the UK, so you could say Perrie is extremely talented. Perrie's bandmate, Jesy Nelson, once said in an interview, "I have never seen a boy that loves a girl so much like Zayn loves Perrie." Like the other girls, she is gorgeous and a perfect match for her 1/5 of One Direction.
Most of the Directioners, including me, love and look up to Dani, El, and Perrie. They are role models to girl Directioners and we envy them. We wish we were them! It's so conflicting because we see Payzer (Liam & Danielle), Elounor (Eleanor & Louis), and Zerrie (Zayn & Perrie) together and think of them as perfect couples that will settle down and stay together forever. On the other hand, we want to be the ones that marry the boys, but most Directioners have enough sense to realize that is probably won't happen and respect their relationship. Danielle once said the wise words, "Hating me won't make him love you." PREACH GIRL. The immature Directioners send the girls hate, but those aren't true fans, so the real Directioners just brush them off.
I'm just glad Niall is still single, me being a Niall girl and all. Harry has had "a long list of girlfriends" and is a "womanizer." Well, that's fake and the tabloids need to get their heads out of their butts and realize he isn't like that. Thank you.
Louis and Eleanor: Elounor

Harry bought them those matching pajamas.
Liam and Danielle: Payzer
The earlier times of their relationship, when Liam was still competing on the X Factor with his bandmates and Danielle was a background dancer.
Zayn and Perrie: Zerrie
Cuddling, so cute.
Fan Fiction
To start off this post I would like to talk about fictitious and magical world of fan fiction! For those of you that don't know what fan fiction is, it's pretty much self explanatory. It's fake stories, some as long as novels, regarding a specific fandom. There is Twilight, Harry Potter, Divergent, Justin Bieber, Big Time Rush, The Hunger Games, Cody Simpson, and of course One Direction fan fiction. I only read One Direction fan fiction, but there are so many stories out there. There's even a website just for One Direction fan fiction! Some users of Instagram and Tumblr even dedicate a whole account to just to fan fiction! A website, now an app too, that most independent authors use to write and publish stories on is called Wattpad. Wattpad has a section where you can pick what genre of stories you want to look at and fan fiction is one of those genres. That fan fiction section is LOADED with One Direction fan fiction. It should be called "One Direction Fan Fiction" instead because Directioners dominate it.
I will admit, I probably have about 15 fan fictions that I am reading right now. You might think, "Why is she reading so many stories at once and why doesn't she finish one before she goes to another?" I have a very good reason for that. Most fan fiction are "editing" or "updating" which means that you have to wait for updates of new chapters to be published or posted. Instead of waiting sometimes weeks on end for the next part, I will start another story. It gets frustrating though because once the next part is uploaded, you've forgotten what happened in the previous part and have to go back and skim it to get a grasp on the story line again. Sometimes the authors won't update for weeks or months on end, so you definitely have to go back to refresh your memory. The problem with reading fan fiction on Instagram is that you may forget the username or hashtag that it's under. I was in the middle of a really good Zayn fan fiction and I kept checking everyday for updates, and then every other day, and then every week, until I eventually forgot about it. That's why Wattpad is my favorite to read on! Once you are done reading for the time being, it saves the story in your library and you can always come back to it. Wattpad also sends you notifications whenever a story is updated, so you don't have to search for it. Unfortunately, Instagram, Tumblr, and onedirectionfanfiction.com does not.
Another problem with fan fiction is that most of it is Harry or Niall falling in love with a normal girl. Zayn, Louis, and Liam have girlfriends that a majority of the fandom has grown to love and we see them as perfect couples, so we don't want to come between them by writing about them with another girl. This leads me into another topic: the 1D girlfriends!
My final problem that I will address in this post is gay fan fiction! I have nothing at all against gay people and am actually for the equality of homosexual people, but the boys are not gay. 3/5 of One Direction have girlfriends, meaning they are straight. Harry and Niall have had girlfriends before, meaning they are straight. It just irritates me. This leads me into another topic: bromances!

One Direction Fan Fiction
School
One Direction have caused me problems in school. Whenever someone says "One Direction," my head immediately turns to see who said that. I can't help it! It's an involuntary action that I can't help. When I am having a conversation with someone, especially my history teacher, I can't help but laugh when the person says "One Direction." In addition, people always look at me anytime someone says "One Direction" in front of me, even if it's not directed towards the band. One day in history, we were talking about Egypt. My teacher, Mr. Ievoli, said, "The Nile River flows in one direction and the Monsoonal Winds blow in the other direction." Everyone in my class turned their heads and looked at me as the room went silent. Mr. Ievoli was confused at first until I started laughing, and then he got mad. Not only did he say "One Direction," he also said "Nile." He said it, so there was no differentiation between Niall Horan and the river in Egypt. In my head, I pictured the gorgeous Irish boy with blonde hair, not a river with sand on either banks.
One Direction have also caused me problems outside of school, but regarding school. I will go home and go on Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, or Facebook just to check up on social media, but get distracted looking at pictures, watching videos, and reading fan fiction (I'll talk about fan fiction in another post). 2 hours later..... STILL ON SOCIAL NETWORKS, and still haven't started my homework. I will then have to stay up later or finish it the next day. Procrastination and lack of focus at its finest.
Misconceptions
Most "normal" people, people that aren't Directioners, have this misconception that all Directioners are 12 years old, crazy people that literally follow them and do whatever they can to physically get at the boys, or both. This is REALLY irritating because those Directioners that will do whatever they can to have a physical interaction with them are rude and selfish, and they make the fandom look bad. I am not one of those people. I love them so much, I have a lot of respect for them and accept the fact that they are also normal people that do normal things.
I'll tell you a story that demonstrates this problem perfectly! Niall's Brother, Greg, got married in Ireland earlier this week. Fans crowded around the church, screaming and disrupting the ceremony. When the newly weds came out of the church, with their parties behind them, they were mobbed by fans. Niall was among the groomsmen and was the one who got the worst of the mob. Niall and Greg never mentioned anything on Twitter about the fans, but I guess they just wanted to brush it off and enjoy the fact that Greg just got married. Although, things like that don't just happen and you don't care. It was rude and disrespectful on part of those young girls, AND THEIR PARENTS, to disturb a special day like that. I know it's part of being famous to deal with that, but thats ridiculous. I would NEVER do something like that! It's sad that people automatically think, "Wow, Directioners are terrible people," but many of us really aren't and it's a very inaccurate assumption.
Here are some pictures that fans managed to snap!
